Our desire at Calvary Baptist Church is to have both a physical and spiritual impact in the Brewerton area. We often ask ourselves a simple question: If God removed Calvary from the map tomorrow, would our community feel the difference? Our prayer is that the answer would always be yes.
Meeting Physical Needs
Throughout the year we seek opportunities to serve and bless our community in practical ways. Some of the ways we do this include:
-
Providing Easter meals to families in need
-
Hosting a Police Appreciation Dinner to honor those who serve and protect our community
-
Partnering with the Brewerton Food Pantry
-
Participating in holiday community events throughout the year
Caring for Spiritual Needs
Our greatest desire is to share the hope of the gospel and help people grow in their relationship with Christ. Some of the ways we do this include:
-
Hosting a Good News Club at Brewerton Elementary School, where children hear the gospel and learn biblical truth
-
Provide biblical counseling through our Restoration Counseling Ministry
-
Sharing the message of Christ through community events and outreach opportunities
These ministries are just a few of the ways we seek to love our neighbors, serve our community, and point people to Jesus.
